BD+11°878 System is also known as Gliese 208, HD 245409, and HIP 26335. Nearby orange dwarf system in Orion. It is on the borderline with being a red dwarf. In 2003, a "cosmic call" was sent to this star and is expected to arrive in 2040. It may have passed within 5 ly 500,000 years ago. Mnemonic: BD Orionis 2.
