Stars catalogued by Dutch astronomer William Luyten (1899-1994). He created several high proper motion catalogs include the Luyten catalog (L, Bruce Proper Motion Survey, 1941), Luyten Palomor catalog (LP), Luyten Two-Tenths Arcsecond Catalog (LTT), Luyten Four-Tenths Arcsecond Catalog (LFT), and Luyten Half-Second (LHS) catalog.
