Exoplanetary Scratchpad

[SysBP Img]

A pair of distant brown dwarves. One of them has a Venus-sized planet or moon orbiting it. It appears coplanar to the equator of the brown dwarf, so it appears as if it was formed with an accretion disk. The ratio between this object and its host is similar to the Sun and Uranus and Jupiter and Callisto, with actual masses in between that of the star/planet and planet/moon. Orbits at a Mercury-like distance every 18 months. Found by microlensing.
